Unlike proprietary products from large vendors, open-source software has the advantages of collaborative development, early software releases, frequent integration times, multiple development versions, and a high-degree of modularization. And best of all – in general, open-source software is freely-available! This means: a widely-available stack of constantly-improving web development tools designed by the community and for the community – and when combined together, have enormous power to translate your dreams into the working solutions that change the world!

HTML (markup language). HTML forms the basis for nearly all web pages – utilizing simple structures that tell a browser how to display your web documents.

XML (extensible markup language). The primary purpose of XML is to facilitate the sharing of data across different information systems, particularly via the Internet.

Javascript (programming language). Javascript is a widely-used client-side scripting language available on nearly all browsers, and used commonly with HTML to create interactive user interfaces.
